Content Policy
1. Introduction
Craftology, operated by ICVR LLC, provides AI-powered tools for creating cinematic content. This Content & Acceptable Use Policy defines what you may and may not create, upload, or distribute using our platform, and should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using Craftology, you agree to follow this policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.
2. Permitted Uses
Craftology is designed for creative, expressive, and professional content production. Permitted uses include:
- Original short films, animations, and cinematic content
- Brand storytelling, marketing, and promotional material
- Educational, documentary, and journalistic content
- Artistic exploration and experimental projects
- Personal and professional creative projects
Professional production context. Craftology is built for studio-quality animation and professional production. We recognize that legitimate creative work — including mature-rated content, fictional and fantastical worlds, horror, action, and dramatic themes, documentary and journalistic treatment, and work built on a customer’s own or licensed intellectual property — may depict difficult or intense subject matter. This Policy targets unlawful, exploitative, deceptive, or harmful use, not the good-faith creative depiction of such themes in a professional or artistic context. Where this Policy prohibits a category of content, it is the real world harm, unlawful use, or deception we prohibit — not fictional or rightscleared creative expression.
3. Prohibited Content
You may not use Craftology to create, upload, generate, or distribute content that:
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic in nature
- Promotes, incites, provides instructions for, or glorifies violence, self-harm, or harm to others, or that exploits or endangers real people. This targets content that encourages or facilitates real-world harm — not the legitimate creative depiction of violence, peril, or difficult themes in fictional, dramatic, documentary, or artistic work (see the Professional Production Context in Section 2).
- Constitutes hate speech or promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Harasses, bullies, or intimidates any individual or group
- Spreads misinformation, disinformation, or deliberately deceptive narratives
- Is intended to influence elections or undermine democratic processes
- Promotes, glorifies, or facilitates illegal activity
4. Minors
Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or harms minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities. This includes AI-generated depictions of minors in any sexual context. We use automated detection and human review to identify child sexual abuse material (CSAM); we report suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement and organizations such as the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) as required by law.
5. Likeness, Voice & Publicity Rights
You may not generate or use AI-created likenesses, voices, performances, or other identifying characteristics of a real, identifiable individual — including public figures, and including realistic “lookalike” or “soundalike” resemblances — without appropriate rights or the individual’s explicit consent. This includes:
- Realistic deepfakes designed to deceive viewers;
- Content that puts false words or actions in a real person’s mouth;
- Defamatory or reputation-damaging portrayals of identifiable individuals;
- Recreations of a performer’s voice or performance, or of a deceased individual’s likeness, without the necessary publicity, performance, or estate rights.
You are responsible for securing — and, where the Service supports it, documenting — the consents, releases, and rights (including publicity, performance, and estate rights) required for any real-person likeness or voice, and for any use involving minors. Where the Service allows you to attach consent, release, or review status to an asset or its provenance record, you should maintain that documentation. Clearly labeled parody or satire may be permissible under applicable law, but must not be presented as a factual depiction.
6. Intellectual Property
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create or upload does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. You may not:
- Upload or reproduce copyrighted material without authorization
- Use Craftology to reproduce or closely imitate the style of another creator's proprietary work in ways that cause confusion or harm
- Generate content that infringes on trademarks or trade dress
This Section targets unauthorized infringement of third-party rights. It does not restrict your use of your own or properly licensed intellectual property — including your characters, worlds, franchises, style guides, brand assets, and other owned or rights-cleared material — in your production work. You represent that you hold the necessary rights for the intellectual property you choose to use.
7. Platform Integrity
To protect the platform and all its users, you may not:
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or manipulate Craftology's safety systems or content filters
- Reverse engineer, extract, or replicate Craftology's AI models, weights, or proprietary prompts
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the platform
- Create or distribute malware, spyware, or any harmful code through the platform
- Interfere with other users' access to or enjoyment of the service
- Remove, disable, or tamper with AI-generation markings, watermarks, or Content Credentials applied to generated content.
8. AI Transparency
You must disclose that content was generated or substantially modified using AI where a reasonable audience would otherwise be deceived about its authenticity — in particular, for realistic depictions of real people or real events, news or documentary contexts, advertising claims, or any context where the content could be mistaken for an authentic recording of reality. Disclosure is not required for plainly fictional, stylized, or artistic work where no reasonable audience would be misled (for example, animation or obvious visual effects). In all cases, you may not use AI-generated content to fraudulently misrepresent yourself, your organization, your credentials, or real events. Where applicable law imposes specific AI-disclosure or labeling requirements, you are responsible for complying with them.
To support transparency and applicable law (including the EU AI Act), Craftology may mark AI-generated Output with machine-readable provenance information (Content Credentials) and records generation details in the asset's provenance record (Asset Birth Certificate). You must not remove, disable, alter, or falsify AI-generation markings, watermarks, or provenance information applied to Output, and you remain responsible for any disclosures required when you publish or distribute AI-generated content.
9. Enforcement
Craftology reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates this policy. Depending on the severity of the violation, enforcement actions may include:
- Content removal
- Temporary suspension of account features
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to law enforcement where required by law
Repeat violations will result in permanent termination of your account. Our safety systems combine automated filtering with human review; while we work to enforce this policy consistently, no automated system is perfect. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting security@craftology.io.
10. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content on Craftology that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us at security@craftology.io. We review all reports and take appropriate action. Suspected child sexual abuse material can also be reported directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy as our platform evolves. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of Craftology after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
